Wyatt Graf's Resume

Bio

I am a Mechanical Engineer with experience as a Systems Engineer. I began my career at Pegatron, where I played a crucial role in developing standard operating procedures for iPhone and iPad repair. During this time, I also harnessed the power of Excel by writing code to efficiently extract and analyze failure analysis data, enabling a faster root cause identification and more precise corrective action planning. Subsequently, I transitioned to a Systems Engineer role at UNICO, where my responsibilities included managing system requirements and meticulously reviewing documents for compliance. Currently, I continue to leverage my coding skills, this time with Python scripting, to expedite previously time-consuming tasks such as data sorting and error detection. This diverse experience has honed my ability to optimize processes and deliver effective solutions.

Cloud Resume Journey

My Cloud Resume Journey commenced with a thorough review of HTML tutorials to refresh my coding skills, encompassing both in-line HTML with CSS styling and a separate CSS styling document for the JavaScript counter at the bottom. Next, I ventured into my AWS account, where I established an S3 bucket to host my resume website, alongside registering the domain name through AWS Route 53. The subsequent step involved creating a Lambda function, which posed some challenges that necessitated extensive consultation of AWS documentation and StackOverflow. Additionally, I integrated an API Gateway trigger for the Lambda function, seamlessly connecting it to the JavaScript code responsible for tracking viewer counts. The most daunting aspect of this journey was crafting the Infrastructure as Code, particularly since it fell outside my area of expertise. Countless hours were invested in sifting through documentation and community forums for guidance and troubleshooting. However, through persistent trial and error, I ultimately succeeded in getting my resume up and running with the ability to receive updates. This part of the journey was both frustrating and immensely rewarding, as overcoming the hurdles and witnessing the project's success brought a sense of relief and achievement.
